A day after the 21st anniversary of the tragic disaster that ended the lives of 96 Liverpool fans, ITV1 were giving air time to Kelvin McKenzie; a man who lied about events on the day and, to say the least, immensely disrespected those who lost their lives, and those who lost their family in the disaster.
At the time of the tragedy McKenzie was the editor for a certain newspaper, that Liverpool fans should, and will continue to boycott. Sick disgusting lies where made about the actions of Liverpool supporters in this newspaper, and although proved completely fatuous and made up; McKenzie still to this day pleads his ignorance, but does not apologise for the unforgiving mistakes he made.
Now all that we can do is assume that ITV are ignorant in this case, but we have to try our best to prevent it happening again, I will provide a link to the complaints department of ITV and you can express your own views on McKenzie given airtime on "This Morning", publicising his TV programme that will also be shown on the channel. McKenzie has became a Z-list "celebrity" in recent times, and we need to do our best to stop this, if all other Liverpool fan sites and footballing sites could take up this story and get as many complaints in as possible and as much negative publicity then we could have some effect in preserving respect for those 96 fans who lost their lives.
