I like Lawrenson alot, I think he talks alot of sense and is one of the most astute commentators that speaks his mind and I like it.

However, I think that this article was a bit over the top and was really in poor taste and I was quite surprised.

Hillsborough is a very sensitive subject and I dont think anyone connected with Liverpool would knowingly do anything that would somehow be perceived as being upsetting to fans.

I was quite disappointed by this article.

thats your point of view of course and you are entitled to it, but I happen to like the guys style. He's not there as part of the furniture, he's witty and generally very perceptive about a particular match.

I would rather listen to him than some piece of cardboard without a point of view ala Graeme Le saux or whoever we will be subjected too this Summer.

Whilst many posters appear to be either hungover/ pissed or taking the piss I assure you I am not in any of these categories and if you look back over a period of time on any Liverpool personality on this site you can see that how they are perceived changes rapidly from week to week.

I take offence to the fact that 95% of the posters seem incapable of being able to express themselves without the use of a 4 letter word.
