So long as we get the new owners we desire, hopefully qualifying for europe won't be the huge burdon it's been, always linked to the future existance and progression of this club with dire consequences predicted for us should we fail.
Under the circumstances above, with decent new custodians, i wouldn't mind having no european competition for a season, maybe even two, ok it could effect signing players, then again maybe we'll be able to sign players good enough to win us the league, especially as the league is seen as the holy grail at this club, and any player that's part of the side that brings it home is guaranteed almost legendary status.
After all, it's just a season or two, and so long as the stadium is under way, and we have good owners installed, i could handle that, just to be able to see the club moving in the right direction off the field...imo would be enough reward to offset a season out of europe, and as i said, it's the Title we really want, it would be nice to be able to think like this...and not always about the constant need for money being the main reason for winning.
It's gone now - no Torres = no chance, I mean Gerrard is not Superman ffs & he's had his fair share of injuries as well this season...
a point certian pricks on here seem to forget when slating stevie this season. he's had injuries for most of campaign yet no one mentions this. maybe if he changed his name to stevie torres?!
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

yep, most of the season. he's been having injections to keep playing and has been rushed back to play after time out injured just like torres but no one seems to mention this when bad mouthing arguably our best player.
