i thought that we looked threatening at times but when and kept possesion well but when it counted we couldn't cause them many problems. we need to start playing with a lot more agression as well.

I think the difference is that they have more matchwinners than we do.

A bit like the Shanks saying about a footy team being like a piano, you need 8 to carry it and 3 who can play the damn thing.

They have more of those players and better quality than we do.

They have Rooney, Saha, Scholes and Giggs who can win a match.

Its a struggle to think who we have. Gerrard and (on his day) Garcia, and then I'm stuck.

fair comment I can see that or is it they play more as a team than us? I dont see us as a well oiled machine just yet

probably a bit of that as well, but how many times do we create and not finish it, and how many times do we produce a moment of brilliance that is simply beyond teamwork.

yeah the fact that darren fletcher looks even remotely like a good player shows just how much we lack aggression.

They're more cohesive, more aggressive, better passers, support each other better, make better use of space.....in fact they are better in all the crucial areas you need to be, to win a match. After the first 20 minutes I knew we wouldn't get anything out of this game, I've never seen such a tame liverpool performance against the mancs. Embarassing.

people are doubting our ability to get back into the game. if we had a rooney or a scholes or a giggs or even a saha we'd have more confidence.

but when we look at where the magic and the finish is gonna come from, name the players we have that can do that for us.

the rest have been much of a muchness for them

terrible marking for the goal

dirk has been good, but when he pulls wide there is noonw getting into the box, so he is crossing to noone.

if any of them could be bothered to get out of 1st gear then we could get back in this game
