It's 4 weeks wages for Gerrard to put it in perspective

I wouldn't worry about a stadium whilst we have these muppets in charge, it'll never happen

It's a prediction thread on a wish list.

I'd hope any new owners will **** these plans off, and get proper innovative architects in. Like Herzog & de Mueron (the fellas that did Allianz)

I think the current plans will date terribly, and it doesn't have much soul either.

I'd love a stadium like the Allianz, Can you imagine on match days it's all glowing a mighty shade of red. It would even illuminate that ****ty little wooden hut over the way from Stanley Park

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                    True

But redeveloping Anfield would cost more, and be more inconvenient, take along time to do, during which time we have a significantly reduced capacity and loss of revenue.

I love the designs for the new Anfield. Unique, and frankly, amazing.
                      Oh I don't know.

I think the executive boxes are getting redeveloped over the summer.

The plans I saw show a terrace area to them so that corporates can leave the box to move outside for the game.

The fact that they're spending on this just cements what everybody knows anyway. We're not moving for a while.

It would have looked so dated within a few years.

My arse it would have looked dated. They released those plans what 2-3 years ago. It still looks world class today. I dare say I have still not seen a better football stadium than that on these shores. The bird's nest stadium plans were submitted in April 2003. 7 Years on the design is still truely captive on the imagination. You guys should stick to your IT analytic what so jobs and let the Architects dream a dream

Not necessarily. They could potentially pay for themselves in increased revenue within a year. £500,000 is not a lot of money in the bigger scheme of things.
                              Oh I don't know.

Apart from the last sentence, as that is what I do.
