Don't really see what else Rafa could have done with his team selection (apart from play Ngog upfront with Kuyt). Its definitely not his fault our defence has forgotten entirely how to clear a football.if u can't boss a powderpuff burnley midfield i thunk u could be right!Originally posted by wiw View PostI think Aquilani has had a couple of nice touches but apart from that....this isn't the league for him, to put it bluntly_____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?
Think we have the answer..Slot!!

True, but we are also facing a team who are needing to avoid defeat to avoid relegation.Originally posted by SimonNo7 View PostI know what you are saying but today we are hardly playing that far away from home but the number of fans in the stadium is down considerably compared to playing at Anfield.

The players should be motivated enough by playing for Liverpool, add to that the fact that they should have some desire to play in the Champions League next season (although that has almost gone, the lack of motivation has been evident most of the season). While the manager should provide some encouragement, most of their motivation should come from themselves, they shouldn't need someone to tell them how important a game is, and if they can't motivate themselves above the level that alot of them have shown this season they shouldn't be here. And if I hear any of these players complaining about not being in the Champions League next season I'll be hacked off.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

not so much lazy as a little lost as to what he should be doing. looks like he doesn't understand his position well.Originally posted by wiw View PostYeah he has, but he's a big fanny
He's looked lazy to me. I will judge him next year too, but he irritates the **** out of me
Clean slate next season for him after pre-seasondave of mutilation

Across the season its looked that way on a regular enough basis that yes, I think the buck for team morale and motivation in any walk of life, let alone football, does stop with the manager / boss. It looks to me like the majority of our squad no longer really believe in the manager's masterplan, and has done for some months.
