Perhaps both. If Gerrard can't get up for Manure then that doesn't say much. Rafa's performance against the big 3 is terrible. This is his third league season and we are going backwards.

Stevie is getting it wrong at the momment.
Rafa is getting it wrong at the momment.

Doesn't mean they are wrong for Liverpool.
We will get it right again, unfortunatly I think it will be too late for this season.

We have consistently not taken the chances we have created away from home however few. Today Kuyt had a free header at 0-0 which with a bit more confidence he would have attacked and scored, could have been a different game.

Our start has been horrific dont get me wrong but we have played 4 of our 5 hardest away league games already, (lost em all mind you) so our away form must improve. Unlike some i never thought we could win the league this season so I am not at the bottom of a big wave of blind optimism.

I think Rafa is doing strange things out of desperation at the minute (Pennant on the left today!!) but i dont suddenly think we are better off without him or Steven Gerard.
