Calm down mate. To hyporthetical. We could win every match remaining this season and Rafa and Gerrard will be here until they die.

I'd prefer Stevie to stay and Rafa to leave if we finish fifth.

to be honest i have many problems with this.

        1. we have played badly for 10 games this season.
rafa's record deserves time and patience to get it right. the team is in a spot- new players coming in, older ones seem to be on the wane and none of them in form. we are frustratingly bad, but i do not think its terminal.

        2. who would you get to replace him? MON is probably going to get a wedge ro spend at villa, jewell is unproven at the highest level. leaves curbishley, o'leary (hah)

        3. any new manager will in some ways rebuild the squad. i don't think we have the money to fund that, unless we sell stevie as well. which i'd rather not do, even if he is playing like **** at the moment

see that's what happens why you think something through before posting it, it would be more viable to sell Gerrard than get rid of Rafa.

            Good post again mate.

I'd rather neither of them left, obviously, but at the moment I'd take £30m for a completely disinterested, gutless Steven Gerrard.

What happened to the rampaging box-to-box midfielder with the ferocious tackle? The boy thinks he's ****in Hollywood know and he is no longer the same type of player - and, in my opinion, it's to his great detriment.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

We should reserve judgement until the end of the season.
