Energetic efforts? So we base the MOM on energy levels shown then? Not actually how good players play?

She can probably pass better than Momo anyway...

Gutless performance. One of the worst I can remember. If a trip to OT can't inspire the team then none of them deserve to be playing for the club. From start to finish we were outclassed by a united team that didn't even get out of first gear. My faith in this team is fadingvery quickly and I am evwn having my doubts as to whether Rafa can lead this club back to the pinnacle of English football. His constant tinkering is now becoming detremental to the teams confidence and ability to play as a unit. Please somebody come on here and defend him so I can lose the plot :-) For the first time in a very long time today I was embarrassed of the team. The season is dead in the water by the end of October. I won't be happy with a Cup not even the CL. I want us to be a genuine title contender and we look as far away as we have in the last 16 years of being that. Pure and Utter BOLLOX

That Scum side is rubbish: Rooney plus some expensive mediocrity and a couple of players well wellllll past their prime.... and they outplayed and beat us quite easily.

-Gonzalez put in one good cross and spent the rest of the time blasting shots at the corner flag.

-Sami and JC look under the weather or something. Sami gave the ball away so often in the first half.

-Kuyt ran and toiled and got no service. In fact it was him who usually ended up out wide.

-Momo, Xabi, and Stevie G - Should have dominated. The Scum midfield isn't half what it was a few years back. Xabi V. Fletcher is like a thoroughbred V. a carthorse, and yet it didn't play that way. I don't know what happened.

-Garcia - Go on, backheel it to Ferdinand a couple more times. Yeah, nice. I'm a fan, but he should be embarrassed.

-Pennant... ha ha, ha ha, oh jesus he was rubbish. Keep going, you've got nothing to prove, genius.

                    What a horrible game.

                      Good review.

Got in half an hour ago, soaked to the skin and as miserable as sin. Had a great time until we went behind and after that was ****in horrible, a horrible horrible experience.

We were absolutely ****e. No passion, no heart, no guts, no ambition, no nothing. While every single one of 'em was ****, Garcia and Gerrard should be ashamed of themselves. Gerrard spent most of the game bollocking everyone around him (usually Kuyt) when he ought to have had a look at his own performance. Dog ****.

                      Something has gone seriously wrong.

As for the atmosphere - well it wasn't pleasant. We went very very quiet after going behind and got it from all angles - namely the 'murderers' chant...right in our faces. Suddenly everyone around me flipped and gave it the 'Munich' stuff and "always look out for runways with ice". I don't like that **** - how can we criticise those scumbags for singing about Hillsborough when we sink to the same depths? All I could muster was lots of :whatever: but it ended up with virtually our whole end giving it the 'aeroplane' stuff and full on Munich chants, and with 10 minutes to go I actually felt like going home.

They kept us in for half an hour, which seemed pointless when we got out as the Mancs had assembled a big meet 'n greet party anyway. Did the cnuts have **** all better to do? The huge police presence kept them at bay although it was only a spark away from a riot.

                      I ****in hate those cnuts.

Pndedring to Gerrard I'd say. It's obvious there is something going on with him. He looks exactly like he did 2 seasons ago. Is it personal stuff or is he disillusioned with Rafa and the club again? whatevere it is he is no good to us when like this.

Something's wrong. I believe he called playing on the right "the graveyard shift" in his book and he's not himself. His performances all season have been **** - as **** as I've seen him since he became a regular.

What can you do. then. It's obvious an unhappy Gerrard may as well be left on the bench. I can't understand it though. He played the bulk of last season on the right and with a smile on his face. I think there's more to it then just being played out of position.
