I've said before, and I'll say it again...

Hyypia is massive liability offensively. He has been a stalwart of the club and is still one of my favourite players. But he cannot pass a football along the ground to save himself. It inhibits our whole attacking dynamic by slowing us down. Can others not see this? Instead of players running into positions to attack, they have to run towards Sami to accept the ball, therefore allowing the opposition every chance to get numbers back. We didnt look like scoring today, and a major cause of that is the way Hyypia distibutes the ball.

This is not a knee jerk reaction to our abysmal showing today, but watching Hyypia continually hoofing....or playing a short pass to Xabi was grating to say the least. I know Agger couldnt play today but he makes a massive difference to our style and i would hope that he is straight back into the side once fit.

sorry Sami, i hate to say it but you are no longer first choice

Carra was no better than Sami today.

Sami i accept is well past it and i bet so do the managment. Today where was he for the 1st goal.

But Carra is the one worrying me, he seems to of lost something, maybe just confidence in him or Sami?
He doesn't seem to be leading on the pitch as much as usual?
Its times like these we learn to live again FF

I think you'll find that he really was, Hyypia's distribution was terrible

I think Agger would have been perfect today, he would have taken the ball out of Defence very comfortably and been a passing presence.
I dont know anymore about us, I just dont.

The entire defence has been shocking this season.

It's not fair to single out one player.

All attacks are started from the back and Sami was ****ing poor at passing the ball out of defence today. Great player and a great servant for the club but we should groom Dan Agger to be his successor. He's calm and composed with the ball and that is what we miss at the back.

The combo of Carra and Agger is the way forward. Agger's cultured in possession. We can build from the back like we used to with Hansen.

Plus with those two we've got a right-left foot balance.

We need more players in the team who are comfortable in possession, and not just in defence either. Agger for Hyypia is a no brainer.

Injured ? He was supposed to play with a protective cast and that his injury was not deemed too bad. Anyway, it's over now ... We're ****ed.
