Rafa couldn't look more disinterested, body language clearly shows he's off rather than fighting for his life & the shot at getting 4th (the very very long shot, but its still a possibility)
Some of you need to lighten up a bit imo. We're ****, sad but true, and the position with this game is riduclous, but there"s no point being all mr serious about it or bickering like little girls on here.
Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom- 2 years1year 0.5 years
We've lost 17 times this season, why should we worry about 1 more? I'm all for living in the present, but the history of the club is what makes Liverpool a great one. We have level league titles with Man U and 2 more European cups. That makes us the most successfull club in England in my book.
Why should I be so willing for us to throw that all away? Just so we can have a bit of pride by beating the Chavs? It hurts losing, but that hurt lasts for a day. The hurt from the mancs over taking us lasts for at the very least a year, maybe longer.
So don't give me that **** about pride and all that bollocks.
It hurts me more the fact that LFC are in this position rather than going into the final weekend of the league in a title decider! But after 21 years of no league title im not surprised. We are **** but fingers crossed it changes in the summer.
Aside from the Gerrard goal, Aquilani's miss early on was a focal point in terms of them getting into the game. Think it would, well hope it would've been a different game if he'd hit it when he had the chance
Gutted. We fell apart and basically gifted them the game.
We look absolutely shattered too, how Kuyt is still chasing every ball I don't know. He's like a Duracell bunny, was expecting him to make way for N'Gog
Bittersweet. I'm very much in the 'we should be trying to win EVERY game' mindset, but after yesterdays results, the chance of a win being a positive overall were very slim
Not off our perch yet eh Alex?
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet
I was, before the game, a little indifferent as to whether we won or not then I saw the interview with Carra in which he said that we should spend more time in making sure that WE won the titles necessary to get the record back instead of relying on other teams to do it. He also said that the way things stand the record's probably gonna go to them eventually anyway. That made me think a bit and I've found myself cheering the side on just as I normally do.
Also, I've thought for quite a while now that the only way to get rid of our present owners was to have one truly ****ing disastrous season and they'd be gone. I now believe this is about to happen.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.
