    Next Season

Well, I've learnt my lesson from this season. I've ordered the new home shirt, so next season I'll be watching us race to glory with the same togs that cover Torres' musculature covering my ample, expanding flab.

It's going to be ok guys.

    These are my predictions.

Rafa will receive assurances that all of the new potential owners would like to see him still in place. The Juventus job is one of those smoke screens everyone is so keen on. There's nothing in it.

The club will be taken over by July. Rafa wil be given around £60m to spend, plus money from sales. New ground begins work in the autumn.

Rafa buys some seriously good attacking players. I won't embarass myself with my poor knowledge of who these people are, but they include a couple of wingers and a seriously good centre forward. Torres is worried about his place.

Rafa also buys some decent back up at the back and then denounces the playing of two defensive midfielders at home to clubs like Wigan.

The club has a new lease of life, and races up the table, competing right up until mid April...

When we seal the premiership and decide to concentrate on number 6.

    My predos. Dead confident.
    Really?

I admire your optimism, but the last few years have taught me to be dreadfully pessimistic on all things concerning Liverpool FC.

So, I expect this 'saga' to drag on through into the new season with Rafa long gone and Alan Curbishley finally taking control. Torres is also a distant memory as we all look to our new Number 9 Jermaine Beckford to take ver from El Nino. Happy days.
