We're definitely not missing Djib's 19 goals, we're scoring for fun at the minute.

    Oh, hang on.

In games like this he was a ****ing liability.

But it appears we've replaced him with Pennant or Bellamy.

          Great.

            Exactly.

Let's not forget it was arguably Cisse's open goal miss at OT last season that ultimately cost us 2nd place. Quit bleating about selling Cisse. He was **** and he's gone - move on.

The problem is, as you say Niall, that we've replaced him with more rubbish.

My contact inside Melwood ( not the gateman ) said that last seson rafa n the coaching staff spent a whole fternoon trying to teach cisse to spring an offside trap,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, after 4 hours they gave up and walked away shaking their heads
Lawrenson:"Well thats 3 good chances they have had in the first 3 minutes of this half"

Motson:"" Yes Mark, you could almost say that they have had 3 chances in as many minutes"

Lawrenson: Errr I thought I just did say that, John"

The same Cisse who missed a glaring open goal in the corresponding fixture last year?

                      We're missing Crouch every week.

Last season he was in the side every single week, and we did well. We all (or most of us) delighted in how he gave us added dimensions, and he proved one of the biggest factors in our improvement.

This season he's hardly started a league game and it's costing us. Instead we've got a brand new signing adapting to a new league and new country, and another new signing who's never scored many goals, never played for a club as big as us and is arguably not good enough to be doing so.

Get Crouch back in the side on a weekly basis. The other two can fight it out for the 2nd striker's berth.

Agreed Shaggy. Rafa rushed Bellers and Kuyt into the team instead of blending them in slowly using Crouch as the constant. Crouch must be very dissillusioned. In the best form of his career and watching from the sidelines. I think this is part of the reason Stevie looks so pissed off. They are mates off the pitch and Stevie enjoys the understanding they have on the pitch.

Good point about Stevie. They linked up so well last season, with Crouchie setting Gerrard up on numerous occasions. They've had much less playing time together in the league this season.
