    Our Youth Players

I just read that Jack Robinson has been called up for our final game of the season, which made me think of all the other promising youngsters we have at the club. I dont watch our reserves play (Im ashamed to admit!) and I was wondering if anyone who does could give me a rundown of how they're getting on.

Bruna - he was meant to be Real Madrid's Messi. I read that he's good at free kicks! But apart from that, he's a bit lightweight?

Amoo - I read some encouraging things about this guy when we signed him. How's he getting on?

Palsson - He was very highly rated when we signed him. Steven Gerrard esq style.

Dalla Valle - He was supposedly immense last year. Seems to have dropped off the radar a bit recently.

Ince - Again, supposed to have a bright future.

Wisdom - Read a few people say he's our brightest prospect.

Sterling - Not sure if he's played for us yet, but he's supposed to be a huge talent.

Suso - poached by our Barca youth coach. Supposed to be one of the best young players in Spain.

Is there anyone Im missing? Will any of those make the grade? Will be very interested to read people's opinions.

amoo seems a decent winger from what I have seen but to put it in perspective Ngo'g dominated that comp and look how good he is (not slating ngog). sterling is still heaps young as is dalle valle... dont know much about the rest

Seeing as the first team have depressed me this season, and LFCtv is free, I've been trying to keep an eye on Borrell's developing U18s. Also been watching the reserves but only for one or two players as they're the 'older' generation - not the ones connected with Borrell:

Bruna - we're always playing with 10 men when he's on the pitch. Yes he's that bad.

Amoo - He looked the bee's nuts in the U18s last year. Still looks good after the step up to reserves but is scarily starting to resemble less of Barnes and more of Babel. I hope he proves me wrong big time.

Palsson - Played mostly as CB this season, strange one that. Done alright but can't help thinking its not his natural position.

Dalla Valle - The step up to reserves has hit him a little, but he's still showing the hunger and eye for a goal. Next season will be his make or break.

Ince - He's the one player that's excited me the most this season. Only played at U18s but scored plenty of good goals and set up plenty more. Great skills as well. The closest thing we have to a 'Messi' at the moment (and that is still quite far obviously).

Wisdom - Not seen too much, too early to judge.

Sterling - Looks like a 12 year old among men. But isn't scared and knows where the goal is. One hell of a prospect at the moment, a few years needed to develop.

      Suso - Who's he?

One more to look out for: Duran. An Alonso clone, just needs to stop getting injured all the time.

And one more: Silva. Portuguese signing (I think he's 14, not sure) but great skills and ability in front of goal. Borrell rates him highly and he found the likes of Xavi, Iniesta, Messi so I'm not going to doubt him.

Next season I'll mostly be watching our youngsters (again. If its still free).
      One tit for another.

Amoo - really like him. He is fast, direct, loves to takes people on, and has a decent cross and shot on him.
Palsson - been converted to a CB, and is doing pretty well.
Dalla Valle - is finding the step-up to reserve level a little more difficult than people thought. He is not scoring as regularly as he did for U18's but he still works very hard, and could still make it.
Ince - very skillful, need to see him in the reserves to see if he progresses.
Wisdom - strong and quick, and very good against players of his age, many people think that his ability is just because he is big and strong for his age, ad that when the other players catch-up, he will not stand out. I disagree, i think he has great potential.
Sterling - Not seen enough of him.
Suso - I think he made his debut as a sub in the U18s last game. I didnt see it though.

Does anyone know if Palsson is being converted into a ball playing centreback or if he is being given experience in defense to help that side of his game in midfield? Have any of the coaches ever mentioned it at all.

So that's why the father in law had LFC tv on when I was over at Xmas.

I thought he put it on especially for me
