Do they do this for the golden boot too? Looking at the list there were a couple of seasons (97/98, 98/99) where 3 players each won with 18 goals apiece. Surely their goals to games ratio wasn't the same.

Why even bother counting clean sheets then? Someone could have less clean sheet and have playe half the number of games so their ratio could be much better. At the end of the day, the ratio counts only when you have the highest no. of clean sheets.
