Do they do this for the golden boot too? Looking at the list there were a couple of seasons (97/98, 98/99) where 3 players each won with 18 goals apiece. Surely their goals to games ratio wasn't the same.

      That a ****ing joke!

Cech is no where near Rienas ability as a keeper!

The FA can do one. Pepe is number one in England, possibly number 1 in the world.

                What a joke
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Was reported on liverpool.no, they are reliable, also found the link above when I searched for it. Unbelievable

"The Czech Republic international conceded just 26 goals in the Barclays Premier League all season, providing a foundation for his team's attacking exploits.

Liverpool's Pepe Reina also managed 17 clean sheets, but Cech takes the Barclays Golden Glove due to having a better ratio of clean sheets to games played. "
Why even bother counting clean sheets then? Someone could have less clean sheet and have playe half the number of games so their ratio could be much better. They should just do it one way or the other and if it's a tie share the award.

At the end of the day, the ratio counts only when you have the highest no. of clean sheets. They just dont do ratio for the heck of it.

It's a tiebreaker and they are within their rights to do it. Dint both Drogba and Rooney score the same goals but since Drogba scored in lesser games he won it?

Crying shame if true - doesn't stop Pepe being the best keeper in the world in my eyes, though. Shame about that other Spanish lad keeping him out of the national team, whatever his name is.
                      Really?

I would have sacked him for that own goal against the chavs alone.
