    arsenal

don't want to rub salt in the wounds but are you watching the arsenal game, they are looking a bit special first class football, but didn't everybody write them off last season because of player changes and said they were going through a transitional period, well maybe this is our transition season and next year we will be brilliant....the words clutching and straws come to mind.

Yep, it's depressing. We can only dream of playing the sort of football they do.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

      have it on.
Kind of reminds me of the dare i say it, young united side of the early 90s, not playing wise, but more of age and ability.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

      * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

It's combo of tactics and lack of technique with us. Tactically too rigid and predictable, poor passing and movement, and too many players of mediocre ability.

Our lack of movement today was unbelievable. At times we had the ball in good areas, but everyone just stood ****ing still! And every time we'd lose the ball cheaply. It was utterly infuriating. Surely they pass and move on the training ground? We looked totally lacking in ideas today. Again.

I miss our old pass and move style if im honest.
If only an Evans side could defend.

I just don't get it. You would've thought with a Spanish manager it would be a priority.

And we all know how good his Valencia sides were at it.

There were signs last season that we were heading in that direction.

Too much rotation, which has lead to a lack of cohesion, individuals performing poorly, and some crap signings have set us back.

i know, they don't only keep the ball well( which we don't at the minute) when they release the ball it nearly always results in a chance on goal, we just don't seem to have that mentality at the moment and worst of all we seem to have lost that fighting spirit which was our major asset. I have money on them for the title. Put on at 7/1

Wenger is the best manager in world football... and the best in this league by a country mile!

also the wrong manager in my opinion.

I dont think he is cut out for Premier league management

UNLESS he stops the rotation of players in form.
                      Gets rid of Luis Garcia

I saw the future today and its bleak

Rafa is the best. I'll give it until the end of the season and see if my assumption is good.

It's only October FFS. We've been suffering because we haven't been able to replicate our away form of last season. We've been awful away from home and i don't know why to be honest.

i don't bet on football but i think you are spot on, and to be honest i would rather them win it than the chavs and the scum, can't believe we are talking like this in October, but unless ronaldhino, kaka, canavarro and marquez and maybe puyol come in January I'm not that optimistic.
