    Gets rid of Luis Garcia

I hinted at O'Neill a while back. If the board made that switch at the end of the season i wouldn't be at all disappointed.

I just can't see Rafa conquering the Premiership. His decisions this season has been atrocious, i think this has dawned on one or two players.

I put it on after the Cech incident. Arsenal are looking like they are on edge of being another great team.

Rafa could lead us to the PL title this season, and he'd still be streets behind Wenger in my estimation.

          Certain players aren't good enough.

Garcia loses possession and is lightweight.

Pennant and Bellamy aren't good enough, or consistent enough for a top club looking to challenge for the title.

          Hyypia is past his meridian.

Rafa is too negative away from home. We sit far too deep at times and invite pressure.

The squad isn't strong enough and there's too much rotation. Not a good combination.

I could have accepted the defeat had we bombarded their goal going one nil down. I awaited the onslaught......2-0 without even trying.

You see the likes of Utd go 1-0 down and you know they will step up a gear, taking the Wigan game as an example.

We never seem to have that fight in us except in cup finals

This thread has cheered me up no end.

When I see our passing and movement compared to Arsenal's we look years behind them. Cant belive how poor it was today.

What happened to the team at Valencia in which all the players moved as one, attacking together and defending together?

We're years behind that, both as a team and as individuals

O'Neill was my choice before we signed Rafa.
too early for Rafa leave talk though imho. He is still a class manager.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

I agree. I am happy to keep faith with Rafa but for the first time since he took over I am starting to doubt he can cut it in the league. As Dan pointed out, we don't seem to be progressing in the league and its worrying. Does Rafa realise yet how different it is here compared to La Liga?? He doesn't seem to and some of his decision making, tactics and team selection this year has been poor.
I have faith but he is testing it at the minute.
If, and its a big if, he did leave I would love O'Neill in charge.
