    Daniel Agger - Wedding

LIVERPOOL FC star Daniel Agger married his girlfriend Sofie in a ceremony at his hometown of Hvidovre, Denmark.

The Danish 24-year-old defender and his bride wore matching white outfits to tie the knot.

The happy couple went on to celebrate with a reception at the glamorous Nimb Hotel in Copenhagen.

Agger’s Denmark team mate, and Arsenal striker, Nicklas Bendtner was among the guests at the ceremony.

The 22-year-old was accompanied by his multi-millionaire girlfriend Caroline Luel-Brockdorff.

Both footballers will be in action in South Africa when Denmark plays the Nethlands on June 14 in their first Group E fixture.

They didn't iron their outfits properly.

I know it's meaningless really but I'm always a bit disappointed to see our players get married without a single team-mate in attendance. Anyone know if any of our lot went along? The other top clubs seem to have much better team spirit than us - their weddings are full of players whereas ours always seem to get hitched without any in attendance.

Probably because they're all off their separate ways and having a bit of a steak.

Or maybe they just weren't invited perhaps.

Maybe. Not really sure how true it is though - the weddings you usually see reported are those of English players and they look like hideous affairs with thousands of people and footballers added to the guest list to help coin it in from Hello. Maybe the foreign players just like something a bit less media led and don't publicise the guest list.

How do you know there weren't team mates there have you seen more pics? From the one above you can only see the bride and groom. I know it says Bendtner is there, but it doesn't say anything else.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
