    Agreed to a point but the bottom line with all strikers is that they are judged on goals - I dont neccesarily feel that Crouch was bought to be our goalscorer either but he was slaughtered last season for the barren run and his overall return.

      Although all of the traits you describe above about Defoe ive heard and read in some quarters when talking about Bellamy.
      Just want the lad to come good so theres no need for talk about any other strikers.
