Joking aside, I hope he is fit for it, has a good tournament and bumps his value up. He's the type of player than can look a world beater on his day. If he does well we could get some really good bids in for him.

Only news I can see is that of the scare a few days ago, no updates since.

Meanwhile, sources in Holland described Ryan Babel as being “touch and go” for the World Cup, Liverpool’s forward damaged his hamstring in training on Friday and went to hospital for a scan.

Although the injury is not as serious as first fared, he still “must improve quickly” to name Holland’s” final 23-man squad.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I think if our financial situation doesn't improve then we will probably be looking at keeping him. To my mind we need him to go to the world cup not just to up his value but if he is to stay then experience at the top level will do him the world of good. Look at how regular games in international football for Scotland helped Fletcher develop as a player and he was playing with other Scottish players.
