Both Arses and Scum managers have been in place for a long time.
Arses are in a transition period but even though they had a poor season by their standards last year, they have players who have won the PL. Likewise scum they still have players who have won the PL. Chav's have bought the players they wanted and all winners.

We lack confidence and when we're going thro a bad patch haven't the past to draw from. We have good players but apart from success with Liverpool have htey had success anywhere else

Seems since the world cup our international players have suffered, the other week not one won a match.
Carra since being involved in England seems to off lost a bit of form. Other England players also have suffered except crouch who doesn't now play regulary for us.

Yesterday's lack of fight can be down just to zero confidence.

We started the season creating chances but not converting them, we need a player of the ilk of a young Fowler or Owen that converts one chance in a match.
Last couple of seasons this has been Stevie, but if not all's right with him who else is there?

It was shameful, abysmal, depressing stuff. We didn't look like we gave a flying f*ck and couldn't even give the Scum a game. It's the worst performance I witnessed against Utd. for years - the most annoying thing is that we probably have a better squad now than we have had for a while. I fully expected to see some fight, passion and determination yesterday, but it was another soulless and dire away performance - another few like that and the best we'll be looking for is to scrape into 4th place.

What the f*ck is wrong? Because there's definitely something not right.
