It's not his job to make the decision.

In fact, nothing is his job other than to find a buyer - that's the whole point he was brought in for.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

          Mascherano 3/10

Are they playing for Liverpool or Rafa Benitez? After a season when Gerrard's body language has hinted of discord with the manager on more than a few occasions, if he leaves now them **** him.

            Thanks Rafa

            Sad to see him go!
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I'm genuinely really upset by this. Whatever the rights or wrongs of his management methods, he was a gentleman, a classy man and one of us.

He didnt deserve it to be like this and he didnt deserve to be shoved out without having had proper backing.

YNWA Rafa, i hope you go elsewhere and clean up on trophies.

He is the chairman, it is his job.

Newcastle seems a tad optimistic; I think Leeds might be more accurate.

So upset by the whole situation...

How can we contact Rafa to send him our thanks and tell him how much he meant to us?

Non-executive chairman. His remit was to sell the club, nothing else.

I never really made up my mind if I wanted him to go or not following our appalling season but now it has happened I cannot help but feel truly gutted.
