Maybe. The current owners are unpopular enough so sacking the manager won't make them any more unpopular. A clean slate for new owners? That's the only positive I can hope for from this mess.

thats all i can hope for too - it's highley unlikely but just maybe by some small tincey slim chance, that there is a bid on the table, to clear the debt, build the stadium and strengthen the squad but they don't want rafa here.

What’s the point of them? Are they gonna be allowed to buy/sell players if they are only here ‘short-term’? If they are gonna be here for the start of the season, why not offer a short contract?

I think that as well, but i don't think many on here would agree. I don't think we can start the new season with a caretaker manager, we'll lose our best players before the window shuts.
