Fancy singling The US out like that. If they were planning on burning an American flag they could have least had the decency to even things up by burning a Canadian flag too.
Would it not have carried more weight to have just torched the nearest Starbucks? A blow to the heart if rampart American consumerism and it's unwanted infringement on our unique culture if ever there was one.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Would you dress them up like Apollo Creed first? You know, for consistancies sake.

Oh dear, I seem to have made public my pathological hatred of fictional boxers wearing excessively spangled top hats. Got thing Drago ended him!
Would it make any difference if I had said dressed like Apollo Creed holding a bottle of maple syrup? After all, we need to make sure the Canadians get the message too. (and yeah I know he's not a Canadian but it's the internet so accuracy is more a desirable than essential).

i'm not biting. the flag in question isn't even the issue. it's just poor form.
Yeah mate well over the past 24 hours we have seen, flag burning, death wishes and hoping someone walked into a massacre, just serves to remind us all, if all the bellends rang at once we would all be deaf
Anybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015 #****CITY

Not being funny though mate but how you could compare my comment to the one about Cumbria is ****in right out of order...... Dont try and tar me with the same brush as that insensitive cunt.
About 500 Liverpool fans demonstrated at Anfield against the club’s American owners last night and showed their support for Rafa Benitez despite his poor record.
Tom Hicks and George Gillett, who bought the Reds in 2007, recently announced their intention to sell the club, which is currently £351million in debt.
News that the club parted company with manager Rafael Benitez sparked the impromptu protest, which swelled by word of mouth.
Christian Sampson, 18, from St Helens
‘For me, it was more about coming down here and singing for Benitez as much as it was about criticising the owners. It was a disgraceful decision.’
Terry Bonut, 22, from Aigburth, Liverpool
‘To get rid of Benitez seems crazy. We might have had a poor season but he was still the right man for the job.’
Louise Smith, 33, from Wallasey, Wirral
‘My sons are devastated by him going but maybe it was the end of the road. Who knows? We need a top name to come in and take over because if we don’t then next season is going to be even worse.’
Bill Jameson, 41, from Anfield, Liverpool
‘I was not a huge fan of him by the end but even saying that, we are not going to get anyone better are we? God help us next season.’
Carl Anderson, 19, from Dingle, Liverpool
‘Totally pointless and we will be even worse next season. Liverpool’s fans don’t forget
these things. Yanks Out Now.’
Joe Billington, 30, from Huyton, Liverpool
‘Forget everything else, what’s happened over the last couple of seasons and just remember Istanbul when Rafa made us the champions of Europe. He will always be loved for that.’

God what an odious "newspaper", "despite his poor record"??? Last season, but hardly overall. Anyway, posted it to show what's being reported about the protests in the media, focusing on the flag burning unfortunately.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
Anybody else think that these rather militant supporters groups are only going to deter decent buyers from getting interested in Liverpool FC.
I mean would you want to get involved in something where everytime youmade an unpopular decision a bunch of loons start buring your national flags and making a general nuisance of themselves.
All owners are going to have to make unpopular decsions at some stage and I can easily imagine that the actions of groups like SOS rather than forcing a quick sale are actually having the very oppositie effect and delaying the process of new owners coming in because they are scaring potentail investors away!
Good work lads...
Jacques Brel is alive and well and playing at Anfield
