Let's be realistic, he's not being played in the position he was told he would be playing this season - I definitely remember Rafa saying this season SG would be played in the middle, I think when talking about Didi leaving - and so Gerrard is a bit peeved. I'd be a bit grumpy too, it may not be the perfect attitude everyone wants but he's not a robot he's human, try as he might he can't continually hide his own emotions. Tbh if we were winning every game and he was playing out wide I don't think he'd be as grumpy as he is, it's just the combination of the two.

He is only human after all, being on 100k a week doesn't allow the club to lobotomise him. I believe he wants Liverpool to do well, and like any player who would care for the club, takes it bad when we're experiencing the kind of form we are at the moment.

You see more of the ball in the center and therefore have more ability to get involved in the game and change things. Its clear he favours that position, but for what its worth Xabi and Momo are my favoured midfield pairing in a 442, with Gerrard on the right.

Furthermore, i think the players at LFC are more suited to a 433/451 system.

Was chuffed when i saw yesterdays line up but was hoping Stevie would play centre with Garcia right, but then maybe Stevie was suposed to null Giggs

I got it in droves yesterday from my Manc mates who were at the game. I hope we do em at Anfield. Anyway, back to topic. Stevie shouldn't be peed off at 90k a week, thats a lot of moolah for doing sommat you love. I'd play for LFC for nothing, (they'd never sign me like, I'm ****e) I'd do my job for very little cash, cos I love it, his commitment to LFC should be 125%. There are many rumours about SG, his girlfriend and whatever always flinging about. In fact I heard two nasty ones yesterday, which I hope for Stevie's sake aren't true. I just hope and prey every single member of that team pulls their finger out and starts to turn this around. I want SG and LFC to be successful, why? Cos I love the club, now I want those paid to play to feel the same.
