In my team it was a toss up between carra and sami. I chose sami in the end i think because cara has been imense but i always get the feeling he could give a penalty when tackling.

to chose a team a fit agger has to be one of the centre backs in my opinion.

just thinking about it, arbeloa really was a tidy player for us. what did we get for him, 2.5 million, and spent 17 on glen johnson who doesn't defend as well, and didn't chip in enough goals to make up the difference?

i'm not saying we shouldn't have bought him, but arbeloa counts as home grown in spain as well. we should have held out for a much better price there imo.

I agree. But he was out of contract, he wanted to go.... So irc we would have had to pay 3 mil just to keep hold of him.

well aurellio i have as the best left back so benny cant be ahead of him. and Riera during his one good season improved the team hugely.

your right benni should be ahead of lucas and probably babel.
