4 Home Games On The Trot

    is next up:

    Wednesday, 25 October 2006
    Carling Cup
    Liverpool v Reading, 20:00

    Saturday, 28 October 2006
    Barclays Premiership
    Liverpool v Aston Villa, 15:00

    Tuesday, 31 October 2006
    UEFA Champions League
    Liverpool v Bordeaux, 19:45

    Saturday, 04 November 2006
    Barclays Premiership
    Liverpool v Reading, 15:00

Time to get it right before our next away match, and hopefully the last our our hardest away matches, Arse away 8 days later, that will be all the hardest away matches out of the way in the first 6, and the first was that prick Warnock's team who prob wanted to prove a point in their 1st match.

Is it time for a 4 run unchanged team, seeing as they are all at home?

I'd like to see our strongest team in the CC midweek, seeing as we have them in the league the following week, there is plenty of time for rest as we only have 1 match in the first 11 days of November.

It's certainly a chance to build some confidence in our own ability. Villa will be a big test for us, if we can get through that with a good result hopefully we will kick on.

a win against Villa is an absolute must, lose and we're finished. Draw and we're finished. This will provide the platform of we can do it. He ahs to play a strong team against Reading to instil some confidence in the club.

Except when they are being destroyed by Arsenal playing football we can only dream about...

I think he meant "(a group of) 4 home games is up next"...

How hard have our away games been so far this season? Manu, Chelski, Bolton and Everton away, all before November! If you look at them realistically, that's possibly only two points dropped and we've got 4 of our hardest five away games out of the way... I'm sure that things aren't as bad as they look....

To be honest Helios, if you're going to win the league and claim to be the best in the country, you have to take more than 1 point from those games.
