Has'nt Gerrard already said he has 3yrs on his contract..so yes...he'll be at Liverpool next season ?

Suppose players can say anything now.... and it's good to hear commitment, and i applaud Agger for it because it's how he feels now, but untill the season starts we don't know who'll be here, i mean what if Madrid or Barca made Agger their No1 signing all of a sudden, are we to believe he would'nt consider that having made this statement, i don't know the answer to that one, but i do know things can change in football so fast.

Maybe they think they in some way linked to the appointment of a new manager, and they have let it be known thaht them staying is conditional on .. something? Might be a positive infuence, who knows. Or they are thinking about leaving.
