totally agree. with jovanovic now if all we signed was a striker and a left back and kept riera the squad would still be top 4 if managed well

I would still love to get my hands on Turan or a Coeñtrao on the left... or, if we do have £50 million to spend, both. I assume that number is another lie, but who knows. I would also be willing to take cash plus Alonso for Stevie, but what do I know? Alonso/ Aquilani/ Lucas/ DM replacement or Mascherano could be great and good depth-- we should only play two at a time (Alonso/ Aquilani) and with some real width and a healthy Torres, would be some pretty football there... I love Gerrard as much as the next, but if he has to go, we need to replace him immediately.

this thread was inevitable, honestly Zamora on the bench for when torres is injured to play with ngog in 4-4-2 would be better then ngog lone striker as it happened last season

we haven't got the money to be paying 8-10 million for Zamora to sit on the bench for when Torres is injured. I would take Hangeland from Fulham, but again the same rule applies, what we would pay for him would not be sensible when we have The Greek, Carra, Skrtel, Agger and even Ayala looks promising

Really wouldn't take any of them. They've got some decent players but none that would improve us. Schwarzer as back-up keeper (though he seems set for Arsenal). Dempsey as a squad player?!
