The question for me is how much trust do we have in the statements of Broughton. This issue is a minor one, and arguably entirely trivial. The question of the bidding process for the club however is not.

Myself I'm pretty set in the view that Broughton and Purlsow are venal, self promoting snakes. I'd love them to prove me wrong though.
If we get the right owners and it all goes well we will have forgotten all about B & P in a few yrs time. They are just puppets doing a job IMO.The wanks on the other hand will take a lot longer to erase from our memories unfortunately ( if that's possible ).

So some bloke earning a fortune for a days work a week, has the right to say that Kenny was never a candidate.

      It makes me sick.

Then he speaks over our new manager, showing the future? Noone would have spoken over Rafa when he first joined or any other top manager, I fear that they see Roy as a poodle.

He had better develop a strong ****ing bite.

They only answer to their masters, the banks, the banks want their money, so an ambitious manager wanting to spend on new players won't do for them.

If as Broughton says, and the club will be sold soon, Kenny was the perfect interim manager, no big pay off to a manager for new owners, etc. it stinks.

            Similar article on BBChttp://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...ol/8782439.stm

But they've cited koptalk in it, I might send a complaint and point them int he direction of Koptalk Insider. Although they have dismissed the KT claims

Kenny as No.2 would be a recipe for disaster. The players need to know who's in charge. Any ambiguity is no good for player manager or support staff.

Kenny failed the pre-qualification questionnaire for not having been a successfull manager since leaving blackburn in 1836. His appointment would have been purely emotional and we'd have lost his value as an ambasador and could have ruined his mystical status as the King. All in all this wasn't the time for Kenny but i'm realy glad he's staying at the club.

                          It's un****ing believable, isn't it?

If i wasn't such a lazy ******* i might be minded to email the BBC regarding the use of such scurrilous sources.

erm, yes. considering that he was, apparently, never a candidate when the board was making its decision, and broughton is chairman of the board. i fail to see why this is strange.
