    how does this compare

Not sure there is any point to this but lets see.

Remember when we appointed Rafa the hope about getting no 19 not knowing we would get no 5 that year

now we have Roy the same hope isnt there. None of this is Roys fault so not having a go at him.

The hope wouldn't have been there for next season with Rafa in charge either. Moores ****ed up very very badly.

obviously i think that with rafa and a couple of new players the hope would have been there for alot of people? though i suppose it couldnt have been met.

I think Roy will surprise us, but I don't think he's a miracle worker. My personal expectations for next season are pretty low. I'll be seriously pissed off if fans start talking about winning the title again, because we get it every close season and it is always over optimistic and we are always disappointed. My real hope is that this close season the players keep their mouths shut.
        Really?

My hope for this season is that I find some reliable streaming services to watch the bloody games.

I'm with you on this one. Also if we get a CL place (i.e 4th or better) then I'm seeing it as a success.
"That's how I found myself on the Kop that day I had my blue-and-white scarf safely tucked away inside my coat as I listened to Liverpool songs and swayed with the masses.

Then City scored and I screeched and this big bloke, a Liverpool supporter, made towards me and I thought he was going to throttle me. But he just pulled my scarf from under my coat so it lay on the outside, and said: "You should always be proud of your colours, lad."

I think this season has been the worse for a while. 15 minutes, then yanked, switch to another, and the same.

i want to see some good pass and move attacking football, back to the Liverpool tradition, players fighting for the shirt on their backs, most importantly the fans getting behind the team and making anfield a fortress again, build on a platform of good attacking football with solid defending.

On the player side, i want to see a decent partner for torres, a left back and a replacement for Yossi, Aquilani stepping up to the mark and justifying his price tag, along with Jovanovic anything else would be a bonus
