    Would you sack Hodgson?

Apologies for the ludicrous, hypothetical thread but I just let my mind wander and had a little daydream. It was ace. I was a Sheikh with billions to my name, and I bought LFC today. I then summoned Roy to my hotel and I sacked him.

If you were a billionaire and bought LFC today, would you sack Hodgson?

I would sack Roy. Re-appoint him again in the morning. Then sack him again at lunch time. Just because I could.

I would give him this season, with serious backing and see how we do.

I would sell Gerrard and Torres though, or put them in the reserves for a long while. Not joking either - and I would give them the bird as they left the building, "look at us now you pussies.. we got monies!!!"

I'd sack him straight away and re-appoint Rafa.

I'd hire Maradonna and Pele as joint managers.Without telling them that was how it would work.Just for a few months to see what happens.

Actually very interested to see what he could do now...

Nope, cos the ideal candidate would not be available at the moment, so i would give Roy time to steady the ship and money to improve the squad with quality, not quantity.

Roy could get us top 4, i have no doubt, with the right backing. And top four is a must to get a top manager.

A year for Roy at the least (unless relegation looms) and more if he excels himself.
