He was with two lads probably in their mid twenties or so. Anyway I waited for the missus to come out of the bogs and told her who I'd just seen so then we both waited like dorks for him to come out.

I said to the bird I have to get a picture taken with him otherwise it will be a missed opportunity. As I went to speak to him he started walking towards Costa Coffee or whatever it was so I'd missed the opportunity to talk to him.

A few seconds later the missus said he's just walked outside and we were heading that way to go to the M & S to go food outlet which was on the other side of the Motorway services across the bridge and he was out there having a smoke ha ha!!

Anyway I thought **** it, I'll go and ask him for a picture and he duly obliged. I didn't really say a lot to him as I know they don't always like being bothered but he was sound fair played.

I didn't even buy that top either. Someone had left it on the pitch after a football match and because no one claimed it I nabbed it he he!!

I'd clicked on the quote button and then the cat stood on the computer before I could post in my reply. It wouldn't let me delete the post that the previous member had quoted so I just put in the reason why which was the cat had stood on the computer, if that makes any sense?

He was ok, like I said I didn't really say much to him as he probably wanted to shoot off. He was bloody tall though, I'm 6ft and he was a lot taller than me.

Couldn't believe he was smoking either. I guess it's up to him what he does at the end of the day.
I was surprised at how tall he was too. A few years back I was at Chester Races as a guest of a client company, so was obliged to wear jacket and tie etc to go in the posher bit. Whilst enjoying a drink by the champagne bar in the middle of the course some bloke bumped into me on his way past. It was Hamann himself, who I then saw was actually drinking with our own Ian Rush and Sky pundit Alan McInally. I'm 5ft 11ins but Hamann absolutely towered over me and was much, much taller than I'd imagined

Ashely Cole appeared smoking in the paper during the week which surprised me.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Vialli definitely was; when he was playing for Juve (I think it was Juve) he got subbed, and when the camera panned to him on the bench he had already lit up. "Not something you'd expect from a professional footballer" Alan Parry said at the time
