Insua can only be sold if we sign two left backs - we certainly need to sign one, and i'd keep insua at left back

Lucas can still do a job for us - i'd only sell if we had money to spend on an improvement....no point in weakening an already weak squad.

Riera.....do you know what, for all his cuntish behaviour - due to the position we are in, i'd be willing to see what hodgson can do. Again, sell him if it means we have someone else lined up to come in and improve there.....but if we can't improve the squad then i'm willing to wipe the slate clean and see if he can revive himself

Aye - i am just thinking ref riera, we need as many attacking options we can get, when interested he did well for us, he offered some natural width.

If we can get say £5m plus, and bring in another left winger (arda turan/juan mata or even joe cole etc) and still strengthen the other key areas (left back, extra striker) then sound. If not, if it's a case of selling reira and get him out and we have nothing coming as cover........then maybe just mabye hodgson might be able to do something with him, if hodgson thinks he can, then i'm all for it - riera never mentioned having a problem wiht liverpool as a club or place - it was all aimed at the manager, the manager has now moved on, it's happened before at other clubs where 'troublesome' players have re-emerged under a new manager, it could happen again.
