No one knows how the season will pan out. We may have a World Class manager and get relegated, who ****ing knows?

We have quite a good team, an experienced manager, fresh ideas, some World Cup finalists/winners and others looking to stake a claim to a first team place.

I'm ****ing excited this season and can't wait for the season to start!

I'm excited as I am for every new season. I am very much an optimist. As always I will have ridiculously high expectations and will keep them going until the maths prove otherwise.

And I will look into the positives for every new signing, no matter how dross I previously thought them to be.

Ok. I didn't like Rafa. Many adored him.

He's gone yet this place seems to be full of folk intent on ripping into each other on the very subject.

How about we wash the slate clean for the forthcoming season?

For example I won't hold the fact that I might of thought at one stage that Fredo/Pete Best is a cunt of the highest order and will try not to base my replies on this going forward.

It's going to take a bit of give and take from many but I'm sure we're all fed up of reading threads that end up mentioning Gross/Nett spend, Lucas, Lack of Man Management, Lack of Funds and [email protected]

Time to move on and try and start afresh.

I think it'll make the threads more appealing again.

Also can members who rarely post but have been signed up on here for 6 months plus have the 'I'm New' removed as I think they get a lesser response from people than they should do. Perhaps 'I'm still here' or 'I'm not that new but unlike you lot I have a life' would suffice.

Hopefully as the season progresses other issues will overtake the Rafa debates but I like the idea of a forum with less of the old grudges being constantly recycled.

The change in user titles is a sound idea and I have a vague recollection that Mr M/Paul/the mod team were looking at doing something with them. Presumably that initiative went the way of the frontpage but I suspect it will be easier to revive.
