I think he feels unappreciated when he is stuck out on the right.
I was no world beater at football and when the manager moved me around in the team I always assumed it was because I wasn't good enough in my chosen position. It's possible Gerrard might feel like he's not Rafa's first choice central midfielder and by rights, he bloody well should be.

i seriously wonder about Gerrard's mental condition sometimes, he seems to be quite immature at times, and if you watch that prog bout him on Sky1 he has an OCD about cleaning his hands a lot. Obviously cleaning his hands doesn't make him a nut job, but it shows he has a compulsive side to him, haven't read his book yet, so don't know if he goes into further detail about it.

I aggree, he didnt seem to be the sharpest tool in the box.

I think a lot of modern day footballers are immature. They literally have their lives run for them by the club and it's representitives. This is so that they only have to think about playing football.

Gerrard has the ability to play the wide/free role but has he the mentality to not be in the thick of it for the whole match.

Sunday alonso did a great ball behind the LB yet Gerrard had a go cos he didn't play it too feet, seemed like having a go to make a point

He scored 20 plus goals last season but doesn't seem to understand this can make us win the PL.

wenger got Henry to swap the wing for the fowards position and looked what happened there.

Yet Henry will drift out wide and be effected there as he always was he's effectivly become 2 players for them.#

It appears his daughter was rushed to hospital Saturday night with Meningitis symptoms

Only got the all clear Sunday evening / yesterday
