i am not happy with pur slow.

however is the structure not like the much vaunted one at the arse where wenger would say i want him and him and Dien would go and do it. Also this is hte structure we had before rafa got bored with parry.

I imagine that Roy has spoken with the scouts since he arrived and that maybe some of the targets Rafa (or under his instructions had been found) thougt would imporve the squad that Roy agrees.

Lets not forget that we all thought we needed new players so Roy needs to get moving and not sit deliberating.

Now if its true and pur slow has the lists himself and doing it all himself its worrying.

Something we need to keep an eye on for sure.

And i also dont believe either Purslow or the yanks are stupid enough to sign a player that the Hodge doesnt want, and then see that player rotting in the reserves, after they'd paid a fee for him and are paying him a weekly salary.

The Hodge picks the team and if he doesnt rate a player, the player wont play.

The yanks wont fund signings/pay wages for players to mill about not being used.

Its got to be Macia. Rumours he fell out with rafa (rafa seems to have a habit of this doesn't he!) and was out this summer if Rafa stayed. I'd imagine that if you put 2+2=54 Kenny is also advising Purslow. Maybe they're looking at a Spurs type structure.

Another epic fail from the Pab's or is it the Pab Man?

I think we are signing players who we have previously scouted, despite the changes in the management team the scouts have remained the same. As it's the closed season it's going to be difficult to scout different players. I would imagine that the scouting system works by assigning scouts to different areas and they watch games and see how people are regarded and they report back. I guess the managers input is that he is looking for a left back or a striker, or he's been made aware of such a player what does the scout think of him, if he doesn't know he's sent to find out. I don't think the fact that we are signing players we have previously scouted means that we are working to Rafa's plan or Purslow's plan or whatever. We're just assessing targets that we know about. Obviously Hodgson will have been aware of the players Fulham were scouting so can ask our scouts opinions on them or make our scouts aware of players they might not have watched.
