New book invite... Real Liverpool stories, told by real Liverpool fans

WE LOVE YOU LIVERPOOL WE DO...

Your chance to feature in an exciting new book about your experiences of supporting Liverpool Football Club.

    Way of life
Following The Reds becomes a way of life for many of us. At Anfield or on our travels we experience moments of elation and exhilaration which become landmarks in our lives. But there are also the low points of despair and disappointment when we feel that all our hopes and dreams have been dashed.

    Memories of supporters
Liverpool Football Club, in partnership with the National Literacy Trust and Legends Publishing, is producing a new book which will reflect the memories and experiences of supporters both young and old. Players and managers may come and go, but it is the fans who give the permanent character to a club like Liverpool. And so as a celebration of our fans, this book will reveal the fun, the absurd, the emotional, the peculiar or unbelievable that is part and parcel of following The Reds. At least 600 free copies of the book will given to local school children and community groups.

    Your stories
Who travels the farthest to get to home matches? Who has seen more matches than anyone else? Who has the funniest Liverpool tale? Who are our record breakers? Get in touch so these and many other stories get in to the new book. Real football stories from real football fans... Make sure your memories are included! Story sessions will also be held at the Liverpool Study Centre as part of the memory-gathering process.

    Please get in touch
If you have a story or set of experiences about yourself, a family member, a neighbour or friend which you feel deserves to go into the book, please get in touch. Either e-mail your stories to [email protected] or via http://www.tilidie.co.uk

How much do you want upfront?
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Almost the opposite in fact... The book is a literacy project run by the NLT and funded by Arts Council England, the PFA and Football Foundation with LFC's community department using any money the book raises to fund future projects
