    Roy just won't get anytime

    11 August 2010

    England V Hungary

So much for our medical team advising players not to be rushed back after the world cup

Gerrard, Johnson and maybe Cole all back off to england as soon as they get a chance to meet and greet Roy

They should scrap this friendly date in world cup and euro seasons. The english players have been more with England than Liverpool from june to august FFS.
    * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

or else make a stand and not release the players...... if england then wanted to drop these players, well thats fine with me (and most LFC fans as well)

if gerrard goes off with england and we lose some of our opening games, then he has no right to say that he is pissed off with LFC not challenging again as far as i am concerned....

what pisses me off is that Rooney will probably pull out, whereas our dopey players will go and pick up knocks.....

        **** england

Hopefully Capello is true to his word about bringing in fresh blood so that our regular internationals don't get called up.

I'm assuming it's not just England playing though - other players will get called up to their respective teams?

I think I say it every season, but waht is the point in this international break so early in the season. Especially after World Cup or Euros
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It is ridiculous.....not just saying this as a Liverpool fan, but looking at from an englands fan perspective---the fa/capello should grow a pair, and drop/rest everyone who played at the world cup. Why the **** not....to a man they were ****, plus the season has started and they have only just got back. Pick a 25 man squad out of all those that didn’t go – either because they were unlucky or not quite ready, let them have a go, try and prove themselves – pick a team ffrom the likes of rodwell, parker, wilkshere, bridge, Walcott, carlton cole, darren bent, stuart downing and any other ****er i haven’t thought off. – For starters it would at least make the game worth watching to see how some of the youngsters get on
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

I know france have a game during that week and blanc has sacked the entire squad for that game. However i am not sure about the other nations having not really checked it. So it may do. However most european leagues don't start until september so i don't think it will bother clubs as much as it will to the premier league clubs

thats not too bad, good to see plenty of arsenal players and city players in there. Might help us out a bit for the start of the season. Any idea if any others have been called up. Would be disappointed to see dutch or spainsh players flying off again.

This whole "let's just change a load of players and bring in 'fresh blood', that'll teach them" thing is laughable. By all means bring in fresh blood, if they're actually better or any good. But this squad is a joke. Carlton Cole and Zamore ahead of Defoe and Crouch?

Wilshere ahead of Cole? Kieran ****ing Gibbs? Wes Brown? Ben Foster and Paul Robinson

                              Embarrassing.
