Agger no contest, Skrtel is average and IMO Soto is as good on the ground and better in the air

WTF. What a weird thread. Skrtle is ****, nowhere near as good as Agger. Its not even debatable.

Infact, the question should be who should partner Danny Agger?

Other than SG, Torres, Cole and Reina (in the expectation Macherano will go), all positions are up for debate. I'd pick Agger and someone else - prob Carra. Hope this takeover materialises!

Skrtel/the Greek to replace Carra when he needs a rest.
          Even their names blend together

          Carragger

IF Agger stays fit all season then guarantee Barca/Real will come calling with a big bid without doubt a world class talent who has been very nlucky.

This type of question is what the phrase 'no brainer' was invented for.

Ask yourself this question, if we had to sell one of them which one would you sell and which one would you be desperate to keep??

99.9% of all Liverpool fans would be desperate to keep Agger
                Enough said.

In defence i think you need a centre back who is a battler and one who is composed on the ball.

Carra is the battler and Agger is the composed one.

Look at the Chavs who have Terry (battler) and Carvalho (composed).

Man Utd who have Vidic (battler) and Ferdinand (composed).

Makes sesne to have Agger alongside Carra.
                  Forwards.......

                    Agger for me.

I'd go with Agger, he brings an extra dimension to our game with his ability to bring the ball out of defence.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I can remember how good Skrtel was in the season before last, and if he can get back to that level, it'll be a close call between Carra and Skrtel to partner Agger.

Skrtel & Agger for me... Carra's lack of pace has caught up with him

I can't face another season of Carragher either getting turned and skinned every 10 minutes or us sitting back, acres between our defense and attack, with Johnson having to babysit him.
