Enjoyed that first half, some lovely interplay between Cole and Gerrard, impressed with Jovo pacey and a willing runner. Pacheco came into it bit better after shaky start. Ngog reminds me of Bendtner, might score one but will miss 4 or 5, i still don't mind Ngog though bit raw and naive at times but he's definitely improving. Great Stevie to get off the mark so early too, would be nice to see Cole getting one.

He has looked very nervous so far, 3 stray passes, IMO Lucas and Pacheco started off terribly but came into it towards the latter end of second half

There's a reason Hodgson is buying Poulsen. Lucas won't be in the first team as often as he was last season. Gerrard's pushed back, so Lucas' best chance is try to become our DM. Good luck with that.
