No, that's cool, its always good to interact with opposition fans, especially around European ties.

I'll shift this thread up to the main footy forum for a better response, we can use it for general discussion before the game then too.

I admit to knowing very little about Trabzonspor, has your season started yet? How do you expect your team to approach the tie, and which of your players should we especially look out for?

Oh, and before someone else asks, re. Turkish football generally.... is Arda Turan as good as people here think he is?

      Mine angry and defrauded young?

          thanks for nice meeting

first of all Trabzonspor is a city team, in our city every person is a Trabzonspor supporter in our country you ll know probably only Beşiktaş, Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe's names but our team and them are knows as "big four" in Turkey.

our season has not started yet ( starting at 08/15/10) our team likes to play in offensive style. you should especially look out for Yattara, Colman and Alanzinho.

and Arda Turan.. i am an enginner so i d like to answer that question in my way think that a players talent ll calibrate from 1 to 10. Arda started from zero and went 6 in one year, but from 6 to 7 in four years. he is still an extraordinary player but he stopped developing his abilities. but he is a star and u know that nobody can understand the stars

              Hello mate,

Hows preseason been treating your team? Is it pretty stable or have you been making many signings?

On a different note was Ömer Riza any good for you? He played for my home town team (Cambridge United) before he left for Turkey (I think he was at another team before he joined you, Denizlispor, maybe?).

I lost a very sizable bet on Trabzonspor at about ten years ago. It was the biggest bet I’d ever done at that young age and reduced me to tears.

Anyway, are you planning on going to the away match mate?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Ömer Rıza is not good for Trabzonspor. he came us from Denizlispor but he did not play good and after that he left us

we have a good staff so we did not take too many signings, we made 4 transfers and also looking for a forward. we have a little problem in there (as u? )

                          sorry for your bet mate

if u asked me i can not go because coming your country for a non-eu person is very hard, visa problem but in Anfield Road, our tribunes ll be full of our supporters because there are lots of Turks in Europa and also in England and also coming from Turkey (not me )

anyway, are u planning to come here?

Yattara I have heard of, wasn't he a "new ronaldinho" at some point? Looks impressive on youtube atleast, quite the showman.

Definitely going to be a tricky tie for us, especially the game in Turkey, although we do have a certain affection for playing in your country since 2005

Interesting views on Turan too, thanks
