    Ryan Babel

    What's the deal......he didn't play at the world cup ....then got a holiday for it,don't think he featured in any of the pre-season games ......seems strange if we were going to sell him then would have been wise to play him and if we were keeping him again should have featured in our friendly games.
    Still think he has the talent ......

          Strange isn't it.

          He was not featured in any WC games and yet he took his time to recover as he played every single one.

          What is even more puzzling is that this is a player that failed to impress since he came and you would think he would hurry to join the squad and impress Roy during the pre-season so he can increase his chances of breaking into the starting 11 and instead he showed up as late as Kuyt...

          Imo Roy will give him until January to show what he can do and if not impressed he'll put him on a selling block.

                i think hodgson will keep him because he's quick and on the right hand side he could cause some damage.

                Under rafa he didnt progress and maybe under hodgson his task will be made simpler and more suited to his abilities.
