Yeah, the trailing leg gave it the scissor effect, and it's no surprise he's injured after that. Personally I may have given him a yellow, but I can see why the ref did send him off. Perhaps it's debatable, but I don't think we (or Joe Cole for that matter) can have any complaints.Comment

There will be a million and one of those kind of attempted block tackles this season - will there be a million and 1 reds I doubt it, was mistimed but not worthy of a red.
