What's the point in resting him? He's a young guy and what he did with the national team was like a pre season. He should be firing on all cylinders mate.

Really look forward to this game for a number of reasons:

- Aurelio's return

- Poulsen's debut

- Kelly getting another chance

- Babel playing under a new manager, more freedom perhaps?(not meaning to have a dig at Rafa tho)

- Another chance to see Joe Cole in action, see how he reacts from his nightmare debut(competitive debut)

Really feels like we have a stronger squad this season and I think we'll do well in the cups and league.

Apart from Cole in for Yossi, the squad isn't that much stronger, its just that we dont have any injuries yet. We really were decimated by them last season at certain points.

I'm expecting Lucas to really shine tonight, playing with Maxi and Cole will suit him and if Poulsen is holding he can get forward a bit more and hopefully score

Major difference is that Hodgson has put Gerrard in CM and has been able to do that because of how good Cole is.

Plus with Jove in for Riera, it's like an extra player as Rafa refused to play him even when we were short of bodies last year. Understandable mind after what he said.
