      Soz dude.

What did you make of Carra's saying it was time for a change then?

The fact that Sky continually try and undermine what Rafa achieved and have elevated Roy to seemingly messiah/legenedary status is just annoying but unfortunately totally predictable. As has been alluded to on RAWK, I think there may be some aspect of racism.

What can we do though? Sky are 'educating' the masses of fans with this **** and the worst thing about it is the viewers generally take it as gospel.

I hope Roy does achieve legendary status, but he has to earn it first.

I dont bother with the website anymore (& rarely the channel too). Feel it is a bit of an "official" mouthpiece...

yeah but it was....that doesn't make rafa a bad manager, or lessen his achievements or mean that the players thought he was a cunt, it happens....rafa did everything he could, it came to the end at it was time for a change....we all knew it - it happened with dalgish, it will happen with hodgson, it will eventually (hopefully) happen soon to the mancs with ferguson or with arsenal and wenger.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Do you notice anything different about it?

Yep, on Sunday Sky edited in a picture of Roy. Anyone have any clue why they might do that? Their pre-match pro-Hodgson (and obviously anti-Benitez) agenda was as clear as could be. Why would they do this?
Did you hear "Lawro" on MOTD2? Going on about the "shackles being off" and the end to "dreaded zonal marking" that leads to "stuoid goals". The man is an utter imbecile.

Shocking that the website included and referred to the 'Rafa rant' as part of their timeline on Rafa.

but lets face it, its better to have those cunts supporting our current manager than constantly undermining him isnt it.

not condoning it by any means as i have utmost respect for rafa, but it will be better for us wont it

And what about Henry Winter? Surely, SURELY this cunt can't play dumb here. He knows what he's doing here.

Jovanovic, on left of #Liverpool 4-2-3-1, bulldozes past Sagna twice. Determination, strength, touch..looks typical good business by Hodgson

The website is ****ing embarrasing at times - it's just frustrating that, although i now we can ignore the site and 'sky type media frenzies' but its shovelled down our throats and does feel like a re-write of OUR history.

The lfc channel - **** me, we have had a few threads on this ****ing embarrasing to say the least. Seriously shoddy and poorly put together, it reminds me of the educational programmes we had to watch in science like 15 years ago haha.

That said though - the other day, bored out me skull, the lfc channel had the 9-0 vs crystal palace game - forgot how good it was, a sheer master class and had two of my favourties of all time on the score sheet, aldo and nicol - funnily, the two ideal players for us right now. We'd win the league if we had them

Oh, I agree. The mess was largely of the board's making. Rafa was the obvious casualty cos he stood up for what he thought was in the best interests of a club with top-level aspirations. Sadly, that is something now far removed from reality. His (understandable) part in the civil war was spilling over into his ability to manage & the relationships he had with the players.

It is absolutely gutting to think how his reign might have progressed post 07 had we got decent owners.

whilst i do agree with this - it was, in a sickening way, a breath of fresh air to see a smiling hodgson walk out onto the pitch and be greeted by a smiling sky presenter and say things like "alright geoff, good to see you etc" - yes it's a bit of change and a relief, and something that i happy to see - but i just don't like the way that they use/undermine rafa to hammer it home - It's not fair on Rafa, and more importantly it's not fair on Hodgson.
