I really can't believe something like this has annoyed so many people. You must all be sat watching the game waiting for Gray or Redknapp or Merson or Keys to say anything that is not 100% positive about our club and then you get yourself all riled, and can't wait to get on here and post it. Chill out FFS.

Sky always use super-imposing and other technical jiggery-pokery to make their montages or features more interesting - what is the big deal?

Got to admit tho, Rafa did kinda make a rod for his own back with his attitude towards the press, so it's no surprise that he gets unwarrented stick for it from that same quarter. The fact that he was foreign may play a part, but then so is Wenger and the media never hounded him, even with Arsenal's lack of trophy's recently.

It's a point alright, but then again, part of me is glad that Rafa didn't play their game, and frankly, he did seem to derive pleasure from it, but its not much of an excuse for subjective journalism on the media's part.
Fan paranoia is alive and well, there is no doubt about that, but pushing an agenda without even having the correct "fachts" as Rafa put it, is part and parcel of the modern media.
No doubt we cannot pick up on other teams' fans' disgruntlement, but I don't believe for one second that Sky do not have their favorites.

Wenger, in fairness, is a long term incumbent at this stage, and his overwhelming early success brought him a lot of fans (as well as his thrifty exploits in bringing young players/teams through) so I'm not sure he stands out as an example of media non-targeting. He is the anti-Rafa so to speak, in that he's a real friend of the media.

All Roy needs to do is finish in the top 4, as his media treatment will reach Harry Redknapp levels of sycophancy.

By design i feel...they no what get's people talking, they know what 'sells' so they go with it...they piss people off, yet they know you can't walk away. Clever, annoying journalism for the masses.
