It's not about where we are in the league, it's about being utterly spanked in an embarrassing manner and having **** all to throw back at them.

We did have though, ROy just royally ****ed up.

Just hope he learns lessons and realises you cant go out and just try and win every game when you dont have a team better than the opposition!!!

I meant in the game itself. We were like a boxer, pressed against the ropes, being pounded and pounded, round after round, without throwing back even a wayward punch in anger. Then we were floored with their 2nd goal, got up and threw a couple of hopeful shots, before again taking our place against the ropes for even more embarrassing punishment.

****ing sickening. Say what you like about quality or tactics, but even basic pride went missing tonight.

As for Roy, i agree - you'd think at his age, with his experience, he should know better. He's not a rookie manager.

basic pride has been missing for a few seasons now. Our heads just seem to drop and we see **** all fight. How can we go from that second half fighting performance against Arsenal to a quite frankly disgusting performance tonight.

Its like we were the 1st years plaing the sixth formers and we were to scared to play.
