Minimum of 7 points needed there, all 9 would be better though. And lets be honest, 3 wins is easily doable cos we are Liverpool FC

things aren't that bad. We came up against a top team last night and got everything badly wrong.
We will piss all over WBA, get a win at Brum to......Scum have got West ham at home then Everton Away.
Every possibility that in 2 games time we will be both on 7points going into the game at OT._____________________________________
Weak willed, Wank or do they have a masterplan?
Think we have the answer..Slot!!

People keep saying stuff like this, as they did before the City game, the reality though is shown to be a stark contrast to the confidence shown by some fans at the new managers appointment.Originally posted by red g View Postthings aren't that bad. Sorry, but that's just the reality i see at the moment, some people thought by sacking Rafa that the cloud that's been hanging over this club would just dissappear, new broom etc, but imo Hodgson will have the same problems Rafa did, and i'm not sure of his ability to get the best out of the situation this club finds itself in, which right now is..'going nowhere fast'....'not signing quality players', and no sign we'll be able to any time soon.

We have our best Premiership record against West Brom, taking 100% of the points over 8 games. Sadly our two worst records are against Birmingham and United, with only 36.1 and 34.3 percent of possible points won over 36 and 108 games respectively.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

After deciding to play 4-4-2 away last night then I wouldn't be suprised if Roy goes for 4-5-1 at home to WBA and try to keep it tight then nick a point.
I'm still amazed that someone as experienced as Hodgson played 4-4-2 away from home against a side who are set in stone 4-3-3.
Unbelievably flabergastedThe King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

i was happy to see 442 for a change but IMO his decision had to change as mash turned out to be a cry baby ****** and refused to play and poulsen isnt match fit. his hand was dealt for him.Originally posted by The Birdman View Post

maybe your right, but then again we have just played 2 of the new big 4. Was very unlucky against Arsenal and we got dicked by City, Who i dont think will lose many at home.Originally posted by Vermilion View PostPeople keep saying stuff like this, as they did before the City game, the reality though is shown to be a stark contrast to the confidence shown by some fans at the new managers appointment.

I am not saying its cheery by any stretch of the imagination, but then thinks are not that bad imo either._____________________________________

Clearly Roy knows his stuff, despite a mediocre CV...so I just cannot get my head around what possessed him to go 4-4-2 with that personnel. For me it's a major worry. I kept looking across to the bench, hoping to see him pacing the technical area, cajoling the boys and offering instruction.
He just sat there. I saw him get up once, and that was to clap his hands at 3-0 down. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I thought that but it's only fair to suspend judgement on that if there is any truth in the story about him having planned to play 4-5-1 until Mascherano refused to play.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostSame here.

Of course you can't read too much into one game but, even so, the abject failure of 4-4-2 last night, with Gerrard in CM, might give the proponents of Hodgson's "attacking approach" some cause for reflection. Andy "****ing" Gray for instance..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

maybe a win from one the next two, but don't feel confident we will right now.
