considering that he is on a free in 7 months time i think 5m is a bit rich for a 32 year old.

i'd offer 1.5m and i'd imagine they'd be tempted. he must be a huge wage earner to have on the bench.

and he is still better than pennant from what i have seen so far. and i don't think beckham is all that great these days

If Beckham is for sale i'd take him. As long as we didn't pay him silly money.

I'm sure he has a season or two left in him.

As "overrated" and "past-it" as beckham is, he can still do things on a football pitch no-one else in our squad can do, and offer things we currently need. You know, someone to put a great ball in the box; offers a threat from set-pieces.

                    £5m? ****ing tempting.

I'd rather saw off my index-finger with a dull spoon, than see this **** in a Liverpool Jersey.

We were somewhere around Barstow on the edge of the desert when the drugs began to take hold.

Could be the "Gary Mac" input we need!

Sorry, i can't get over the fact that he's a washed up ex-Manc. I've nothing against buying ex-Mancs if they are at the top of their game but he's a spent force.
It would be more like the Paul Ince input than the Gary Mac input.
